What You’ll Do:
- Support the Executive Director in daily community operations to maintain a welcoming, safe, and resident‑centered environment aligned with the Community’s mission and values.
- Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team to ensure high levels of resident satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
- Provide oversight and hands‑on support for business office functions, including financial management, billing, payroll support, records management, and administrative operations.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and ongoing development of staff while fostering teamwork, accountability, and positive morale.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor occupancy, staffing levels, resident services, and operational performance to support community goals and financial targets.
- Participate in marketing and census‑building efforts, including tours, leasing activities, contracts, deposits, and system updates.
- Maintain strong working relationships with residents, families, staff, vendors, consultants, and community partners.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and record retention for residents and employees.
- Provide leadership coverage, respond to concerns or emergencies as needed, and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
What You’ll Need:
- High School diploma, required; Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable leadership role, preferably in senior living or healthcare, required
- Valid Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) certification with Assisted Living Residence (ALR) Administrator module, required
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license
- Strong organizational, decision‑making, conflict management, and problem‑solving skills
- Demonstrated experience hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with a resident‑centered approach
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn and use accounting, payroll, and community management software
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, professionalism, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality resident services
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
