Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

As the Maintenance Assistant, you’ll help maintain the building, grounds, and mechanical systems to ensure a safe, comfortable environment. You’ll:
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to facility repair needs
Support residents and staff with maintenance-related requests
Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary
Stay alert and responsive to emergency maintenance issues
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience
3 years of general maintenance experience (Assisted Living experience preferred)
Knowledge in key maintenance areas, including:
Plumbing: fixtures, drains, water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines
HVAC: heat pumps, refrigeration, ventilation
Electrical: wiring, voltage/amperage basics
Mechanical systems: general engine/equipment operation
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Reliable, proactive approach to work
Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of scheduled hours
